What is coaching?

“Coaching is a forward-looking creative process whereby a coach and a client work together in alliance with the purpose of maximizing the client’s personal and professional potential”

A coach will work with you in alliance to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what you want to achieve in work and in life
  • Encourage and actively promote  your self-reflection and discovery
  • Produce or uncover the broadest possible range of solutions and strategies generated by you and intended to move you forward
  • Create a big picture plan and design immediate action steps to fuel your progress towards your goals
  • Hold  you responsible and self-accountable for making continuous progress
  • Help you foresee and support you to overcome any obstacles in your way

This process will help you dramatically improve your outlook and results on work and life while advancing your leadership and life skills and unlocking your full potential.

Is coaching for weak people?

Exactly the opposite! Coaching basically helps you realize your full potential and fuels success so it is best suited to ambitious and high achieving people. Most of Fortune’s top 500 CEOs, creative geniuses, and talented individuals are steadily actually working with coaches. But coaching is not only for the gifted. Anyone who strongly wishes to make progress and embrace change personally or professionally is a good candidate for coaching.

Is coaching like psychotherapy?

Absolutely not! Coaching and psychological therapy might work together well in some cases, but coaching does not treat psychological problems or trauma or look to the past to find explanations for problems. It is, as we said, a dynamic, forward- looking, positive goal oriented process based on self-discovery, action, and accountability.

See how coaching can help you

If you identify with one of the following situations then coaching might be the best solution for you

d

You feel stuck, without clear direction or goals

One thing that coaching is great for, is helping people find their way when they are feeling lost and confused. If you have come to a point where you feel confused about who you really are or what you want next, working with a coach is a great starting point.

i2

You doubt yourself a lot

If you keep doubting yourself, or just feel the need to explore your feelings or intentions further, a coach will work with you  to reach the  clarity you need. There are ways and tools that your coach will use to help you discover your strengths, values, pleasures and resources so that by utilizing them you get more self assurance and a sense of direction back and move on with your life.

i3

You have a strong vision or wish, but don’t know how to get there

There are times when you may have a goal or vision, but you don’t have a plan as to how to achieve it or don’t know where to begin. A coach can help you devise and formulate a self-generated plan and commit to specific actions so that you can safely get to where you want to be. A lot of great ideas are lost due to lack of organization, commitment and clarity, and the world misses out every time.

i4

You feel you need or you are forced to make a big life change

You maybe looking to break out of your job and start your own business, expand your existing business, enter a new field or deal with a major personal or professional change. The help of your coach can provide you with the confidence, structure, plan and commitment you need to start taking the desired steps and just do it.

i5

You procrastinate or often give up on goals

If you need someone to help keep you accountable or you tend to give up or downplay the importance of some of your goals and wishes, a coach can be at your side. Reaching any important goal takes discipline, action, and calls for getting things done on time and keeping to your schedule. A coach can help you change any unproductive patterns of behavior and break your habit of procrastinating so that you can move forward and achieve what you want.

i6

You need to feel better and more balanced now

Life can oftentimes be hectic. Wasting time going around in circles, maybe trying to reach other peoples’ goals and not your own, will often take up lots of your precious time and prevent you from finding balance and feeling good. Working with a coach will help you identify with your own personal goals and find practical solutions faster while making sure that you feel happier in the process.

i7

You feel too stressed or that things are out of control

If you feel very stressed trying to sort out everything on your own without any support, it may only add to your frustration and your feelings of not being good enough. Connecting with a coach will save you energy, make you feel supported, empowered and motivated and eventually get you to regain your calm, while at the same time helping you to remember and use your own coping mechanisms.

i8

You need to boost your self-confidence

Your coach will work with you on self-assertion, support and  encourage you as you take any risks you decide to take and embark on actions that will make your life better and more fulfilling. She will stay by your side in partnership as you start to build the knowledge and experiences you need to believe in yourself again and become more self-confident.
