How does coaching with positive psychology work?
Typically a coaching engagement based on positive psychology goes through these stages:
Identifying and setting your desired positive goals for change
Discovering your strengths, values and motivation
Making sure that you feel as happy as possible from day one
Formulating a big picture plan and setting concrete action steps
Being held accountable for taking immediate action
Providing structure, encouragement and support while working towards your goals
Ways of working
There are three alternatives depending on your needs and on how clear you already are regarding your goals:
Initial consultation: Free, face-to-face, by Skype or phone, after contacting us by email using the Book a Free Consultation option. This is when we decide if and how we will work together.
After that, there are 3 options:
a) Session-by-session: You can have as many 50-minute sessions as you need without committing to a package and stop when you feel happy with the results
b) 6-session package: Usually completed in the course of one and a half to two months. Sessions last 50 minutes. Suitable for those who already have specific goals
c) 3-month package: includes 9, 50-minute sessions over the course of 3 months. Suitable for those who have a less clear picture of their specific goals and direction
After completing one of the above, we can, if you feel like it, hold monthly or bimonthly sessions to keep you on track and discuss your progress against your goals.
